5-28-03 v3.0.40	Cell phone notification bug fixed. Notify only if caller in phonebook and "Notify me" enabled bug fixed.] The bracketed text to the right of a mailbox name not showing the number of messages in that mailbox for example: MyMailbox[0]. If using speech version 4 and remotely retrieving your messages you no longer hear funny symbols being spoken.	Minor regional support e.g. Call Soft will heed regional setting like $ symbol etc. Not a factor for US users. You can create a receive fax now speed button. This was added to add support for accessing fax on demand services. Simply create a speed dial button and put RXFAX as the number. When clicked will cause Call Soft to immediately begin receiving a fax.

4-06-03 v3.0.37	Fixed a bug that caused sent faxes to be concatenated e.g. send fax next fax sends last fax also. Fixed a bug that might cause Call Soft to display an exception message. Fixed a small bug concerning copy/paste mailboxes. Fixed a bug relating to minimize to system tray when closing.	You can now specify the date/time display format of calls displayed in the incoming call history list. See the general tab in setup. You can now, optionally, have all faxes put into a separate mailbox. Fixed a small problem concerning copy/paste mailboxes. Some minor improvements relating to error messages, send fax function. not real important.
3-28-03 v3.0.36c	Fixed a problem with the original 3.0.36 and 3.0.36b installation. If you installed either of these re-download. Strange things may happen if you don't.
3-27-03 v3.0.36	We thought we had the disappearing mailbox settings bug fixed in 3.0.35 but we were wrong. The problem should be fixed now... we hope. Fixed a bug that caused the cell phone notification not to work. It would call you but say you have no messages. Associating a distinctive ring to a mailbox bug has been fixed. Also some distinctive ring and answer on getting caller ID issues cleared up. A problem where faxes you sent did not properly get copied to the outgoing call history. This prevented you from retrieving faxes you sent days ago. This has been fixed. A problem that caused the fax test file license.tif to grow in size every time Call Soft was started. If your modem supports speakerphone you might have noticed it activating briefly just prior to the greeting being played. Well that's fixed. Some minor but significant internal changed made also. I am hoping this is the last beta release. Of course we said that back on 3.0.34.	If your E-Mail client support extended MAPI you can now use Call Soft to read or query your E-mail. See the remote options tab in mailbox properties for the new options. Some minor visual fluffy type stuff changed/added.
3-13-03 v3.0.35	Major bug that was caused loss of mailbox settings has been fixed. This is primary reason for this release. Copy paste mailbox bug fixed. When forwarding a number you can now add commas to your dial string. They where filtered out on previous release. Speak button on mailbox properties caused fault has been fixed. Able to change the font in your phonebook. Some internal changes too many to note.
3-9-03 v3.0.34	Changed how mailbox active times are stored. There was a rounding bug that caused times not to hold their true value. Fixed a bug that would cause the name column of the phonebook not to appear. Some unnecessary files have been removed from the installation significantly cutting the install program size.	When the phone rings a "Block" button will appear. When you press it the caller will think your number has been disconnected.
3-1-03 v3.0.33		Call forwarding. If you have 3 way calling, Call Soft will be able to forward your calls. This option can be invoked by simply entering a mailbox or as a remote option. Option to change how the incoming and phonebook lists appear. A new search algorithm that drastically increases the time needed to populate the incoming call history. This is a real problem for people who had either a slow machine or large incoming call histories or phonebook contacts. The remote access tab has been split into two tabs. One for remote messages and remote options. You now have more remote options e.g. call forward, turn speakerphone on etc.
2-19-03 v3.0.32	A rare bug that would cause loss of mailbox information has been fixed. We could not reproduce or isolate the problem but knew the fault was in the data base component used to store the data. Now the mailboxes, phone and fax numbers are stored in XML. This is the main reason for this release.	The phonebook now supports groups e.g. folders. Fax numbers have been merged into a separate phonebook group. You can now use your phonebook when choosing who to send a fax to. The messenger window e.g. the one that appears when a messages is being taken has been slimmed down. Import files from older Call Soft Pro or Call Soft.
2-04-03 v3.0.31	Not playing personal greetings that where not located in the greetings folder. Not allowing less than 5 seconds for silence detection. Would not allow a blank long distance prefix e.g. always added a 1 to long distance calls when you specified nothing. "Only notify me if the caller is in my phone book and notify me is ON" option is now working correctly. Not answering bug fixed. This would happen only on some systems.	Option to remove the silence from the end of a message. Some internal changes that effect speech and efficiency. De-hancements: Removed the speech recognition. This is only temporary, we are making changes and will reintroduce it in the next release.

12-9-02 v3.0.29	Error that occurred during E Mail notification IF caller hung up before Call Soft answered AND main mailbox set to notify even if caller does not leave a message. Error when trying to access a mailbox when using security. We think we fixed a very rare bug that would cause an error when deleting items from the incoming call list. Minimizing to system tray when when running a service. Help not working on some XP systems. Using the * key in remote access features. In some cases the run program remote access feature not spawning program correctly. Internal changes made to how Call Soft records. The change should, in theory, prevent messages from getting corrupted and allows a caller to leave a message in one mailbox then move to another and leave a message there. We made some significant changes in how Call Soft is compiled and linked, the instruction set and stack size have changed. This is being done as a test because there seems to be some random problems that we cannot replicate or explain. We hope these changes will make a difference but should lower the memory and resources Call Soft uses.	Fax on demand. This option allows your callers to enter their fax number then have Call Soft send a fax to them. The ability to not answer based on caller. Incoming call history now uses your system's date and time setting. The ability to reboot your computer remotely. You can enter <reboot> as a remote program to run. You can now forward received faxes. Right click on a received fax and select forward. This will move a copy of it to the faxes to send list. You can do this with previously sent faxes also. The Uninstaller will now, optionally, remove all registry settings and files.
11-20-02 v3.0.28	Not hanging up. Not able to gain entry to a mailbox, never accepted your password. Not being able to set the Caller ID format.
11-16-02 v3.0.27	Fix problem that caused Call Soft to disappear when running as a service and minimize at startup was enabled. Fix a security issue that caused Call Soft not to function properly if someone without write permissions to the Call Soft folder was logged on. You can now view previous faxes sent from the outgoing call history. Added support for some Zoom modems (maybe others) that caused line to hang if the caller hung up before Call Soft answered. Fixed a bug that cause Call Soft to abort if their system was using military date. Fixed a bug that caused "Invalid Fax File" to appear when sending a fax. This would only happen if you where not sending a fax cover page. Fixed bug that cause the message "You want to be notified but how?" to appear when setting up notifications.	In E-mail notification you can now specify if you want voice/fax attachments sent to a particular E-mail address. For example you can send voice mail attachment to 1 address but not to a second (like a cell phone). Security added to mailboxes. You can now specify a password for a mailbox. You can assign any child mailboxes to use parents security settings. A password will be required to view calls or hear messages and set properties. Using more streamlined controls to better screen real estate. Trying to use more button with icons, seems people love their icons. When a mailbox is setup to copy it's message to another mailbox, the other mailboxes notifications will be invoked. However any E-mail notifications, invoked this way, will indicate the message is from another mailbox.
11-9-02 v3.0.26	Fixed 2 bugs that prevented Call Soft from sending faxes in rare cases. Caller ID sometimes not showing name but did show number. Fixed problem with fax viewer settings i.e. using other applications etc. Answering on ring when using distinctive ring not working correctly is now fixed. Fixed a bug that might cause line hangs etc. if you had the "listen for fax tone" or "Record my conversation" options checked (messages tab in setup). Fixed a bug that caused the ActiveX control to keep trying to communicate with Call Soft when in a development environment (VB, C++, ASP etc.).	The main interface is now low profile, removed many borders etc. this helps your screen real-estate some. Set time interval for audio notification of messages. See messages tab in setup. You can now use the XP fax viewer to view faxes. Select use associated program on fax tab in setup. Many other minor ones.
10-15-02 v3.0.23	Fixed a bug that would, on some systems, cause no beep to be played before or after a greeting. Fixed a bug that caused internal mailbox id's to be duplicated. This resulted in an annoying message box every time Call Soft ran or a mailbox was added. This only happened on Win98 systems. Active X server stuff got all messed up on the previous release. It's fixed now.
10-7-02 v3.0.22	Problem with hanging up on callers fixed. Problem with backup utility fixed. Problem with beep not playing if duration < 1000.	Record all incoming calls. If you answer the phone on another extension Call Soft can, optionally, record the conversation. See the message tab in setup. Always listen for fax. If you answer the phone before Call Soft does, you can now instruct Call Soft to listen on the line for a fax tone and if detected will begin receiving the fax. See the fax tab in setup. Answer on a specific ring depending on the distinctive ring pattern. A remote access feature that leverages your three way calling feature. This allows your callers to access your second line, dial a number then switch back and begin a conference call. See mailbox properties -> remote access tab Set3.
10-5-02 v3.0.21	Fixed a problem that, in rare, cases would cause Call Soft not to record a message. Fixed a problem with family message's not recording.	You can now, optionally, add icons to the mailbox tree. The images can also be shown in the incoming call history. Call Soft can now fully backup itself. It can also restore. The backup files are written as a standard .zip files. Support for PC Anywhere. You can remotely tell Call Soft not to answer the phone for 5 minutes (see remote access in mailbox properties). This gives you time to call in via another PC. Call Soft will not answer the phone but PC Anywhere will assuming it's running on the host.
10-2-02 v3.0.20	Fixed problem that caused "This Mailbox" to appear multiple times on the mailbox properties window. Fixed problem that caused Call Soft to abort if a fax was detected while in a mailbox that is set not to accept faxes. Fixed a problem that cause the speakerphone to come on prior to taking a message. When listening to messages the mailbox name appeared on the window instead of the caller's name.	Call Soft can now, optionally, reboot the computer in the even it can't connect to your modem.
9-25-02 v3.0.19	Not detecting distinctive ring patterns.
9-20-02 v3.0.18	Dragging fax messages to another mailbox changed the file type to wave. Auto backup fax files not working. Getting garbled caller ID should not happen as often now. When the E-mail client needed to dial up to the Internet an error might occur that caused it to abort.	Distinctive ring. See distinctive ring tab in setup. Changes made to the Active X control. We had to change the GUID so make sure you start using the new one.
9-12-02 v3.0.17	Restoring a mailbox causing program to abort. Would do notification on messages that were automatically deleted because they were too short even when "Notify me only if caller leave a message" was ON. If not using TTS and Call Soft called a cell phone for notification the notify.wav file was never played it just started playing the messages. If not using TTS and Call Soft called a cell phone for notification the menu.wav would not fully play IF during playback of the previous message the fast forward feature was used.	Active X server was implemented. This is a feature for other software developers. Note: Most of the properties and methods are working we still need to make changes to all the speech and play wave file methods. We just did not have enough time this week to convert all however they will be working by next week.
9-10-02 v3.0.16	Program aborted when trying to play a beep. This was a rare problem but did occur on Win98 and XP systems. Stack overflow when loading speech. Problem where the main greeting would not be the first message played, instead it jumped to another mailbox somewhere in the middle of the mail box tree.	You can now drag and drop messages from the incoming call list to any mailbox. This allows you to manually add messages to another mailbox. You can now drag and drop mailboxes. You can now move a mailbox, and all it's, children to another location in the mailbox tree. You can now copy and paste mailboxes. Enhanced the message backup and message logging facility. You now have control over how your messages are backed up and what gets logged to the call log. Added a mute button. When clicked will turn off the speakerphone mic. If you have Excel installed, you can instantly import your incoming call history or phone book list into it.
