CALLING SERVICE |
PHONE
CARD PLATFORM |
TiP™ software
provides callshops with routing, billing and management functions.
By connecting a variety
of available services, including web triggered and conventional callback,
, TiP™ is able to take advantage of lowest available rates for telephony
service to callshops.
This way, callshop operators
are able to realize higher profits and at the same time competitive low
rates to their customers.
Residing on a single PC
in the callshop, TiP™ works with one or more telephony boards installed
in the PC.
No other specialized hardware
is required. Each phone in the callshop is connected to the PC through
an ordinary phone wire, and each phone line is similarly connected.

TiP™ logs all activity so
callshop managers are able to generate reports. TIP™ logs are useable with
most major third party software suites, including Microsoft Access, Excel,
and Quick Books. Callshop attendants are able to present customers with
printed, accurate bills for their usage.
|
TiP™ is a
a phone card platform as well. This enables the sale of phone cards in
the Callshop which can be used outside the callshop.
With Tip™, you are able to
generate and track card account numbers, issue prepaid or post paid cards,
and connect the calls over your TiP™ system.

One TiP center concept
| "TiP"
means Telecom InfoPort but it also stands for Telephone,
internet,
and Premium services. This is true convergence
of Internet, Telecom, and Entertainment. The TiP concept creates
an environment where resellers offer communications and entertainment services
in a walk-in setting and/or within a city or region.
TiP™
software is an A to Z solution for the reseller, providing billing, management,
account generation and verification, and many aspects of the service technology.
The newest TiP CS-2500 adds phonecard services, and is the core of the
future callshop, including the 'virtual' callshop.
All
TiP systems use DIALOGIC/Intel
voice boards. |
The
TiP CS2500 is a multi-function software tool which provides a complete
solution for providers of both remote and walk-in retail telephony services.
Based
on and containing all the features of the earlier CS1000 and CS2000 CallRouters,
the CS2500 adds debit card remote platform and callshop operation and management
features.
Working
in conjuction with any telecom source such as earthstation, T1/E1 lines,
VOIP, ICB (International Call-Back) provider, a call-through provider,
or a stateside TiP switch, CS-2500 provides routing, billing, and management
services from a single PC platform.
The
typical hardware configuration in a TiP-powered callshop is a single PC
running CS-2500, Windows NT 4.0 (Workstation or Server), and Microsoft
Access.
Each
customer telephone (usually in ‘booths’) is connected to the Dialogic board(s)
in the PC, as are the Central Office side lines. Furthermore, there is
one or more (usually one) ‘signalling’ lines to the PC, connected to the
modem or NIC.
